Being an educational hub, Boston has a dynamic young adult population from all over the world. The Boston Sai Young Adult Group was formed in 1996 and this brought together a diverse population of like-minded students and young professionals. The initial focus was to unite the group through regular meeting, study circles, and to establish the YA group as a formal wing of the center. The Boston YA group operates under the umbrella of the Sathya Sai Baba Center of Boston.

Swami says that when we serve our fellow man, we are in effect serving God. According to Him, it is one sure way of reaching God. This is because through service, we learn to see beyond ourselves and consider the needs of others. We find out if we have been successful in reducing our anger, impatience and greed. It allows us to gauge the depths of our compassion and understanding. To enable the young adults to practice their spiritual principles, we participate in the following service projects:

One of the main objectives of creating the Young Adult Wing is to inspire the youth to become more active in the Sai Organization. The youth are encouraged to hold regional and national youth conferences on a regular basis to meet other young adults and to exchange ideas on spiritual development. To that end, the Boston Sai Young Adults organize and participate in the following devotional activities.
