SWAMI ACCEPTS OFFERING OF LOVE FROM USA SAI YOUTH
On Saturday, November 21, 2009, our dearest Swami graciously received the 'OFFERING OF LOVE' from USA Sai Young Adults.
The OFFERING OF LOVE, which can be viewed below, consists of a letter seeking Swami’s Blessings for the Way Forward initiative, and the many service initiatives being undertaken by USA Sai youth, followed by a summary of the 10 houses of the Way Forward initiative.
Also included in the Offering was the inaugural issue of "HeARTS United for Sai", a webzine featuring poetry, essays, photography and other artistic offerings created by young adults. OFFERING OF LOVE was beautifully designed by the members of the Sai n' Arts House.
Please read below for a wonderful account of the interaction between Swami and Dr. Harvey, and Swami's words about the Offering, HeARTS United for Sai, and the Way Forward Initiative. As Dr. Harvey said, this is a profound blessing by Swami for the USA Youth. We express our deepest gratitude to Swami for His Grace, and pray that we may deepen our inner connection to Him!

Below is Dr. Harvey's account of the interaction with Swami:
"Swami came close and sweetly gave the opportunity to show Him the booklet. Holding it in front of Him, I said "this is from the Young Adults in America." He looked pleased, and I proceeded to open the cover and slowly turn the pages. He gave the impression that I need not rush through the pages, as He seemed to be reading them. After carefully perusing the headings ("Going Green," "Refugee Projects," etc), He made several positively-toned comments, such as "Doing Seva," and "Yes." This encouragement prompted me to say "Swami, the Young Adults in America—because of their Love for You—are doing very good work." He nodded again and smiled.
When we turned to the page with the heading "HeARTS United for Sai," Swami made reference to the play on words.
I estimate Swami spent at least three minutes looking approvingly at the 'OFFERING OF LOVE,' and He definitely appeared highly pleased. I am also happy to say that He kept the booklet and gave it to one of the boys to take inside the Interview Room."
